 Chicken drumsticks

 Soy sauce

1 T

2 T

 Minced garlic

¼ t

½ t

 Crushed ginger

½ t

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 200º C.
  2. Remove the skin from the drumstick if desired.
  3. Mix together soy sauce, honey, garlic and ginger.
  4. Lay drumsticks flat in a small baking dish and pour over sauce. Cover with lid or tinfoil.
  5. Bake in hot oven 40 minutes or until well browned. Turn once and baste often.



  1. Prepare drumsticks as above placing them in a microwave safe dish. Cover and cook on medium-high power for 4 minutes for 1 serve and 8 minutes for 2 serves. Check to see that chicken is thoroughly cooked through and if necessary cook for a little longer.
  2. Stand for a few minutes before serving.


Serving Suggestion: serve with steamed vegetables or a green salad and rice or a baked potato.
