This bright and delicious dip is a low cost alternative to traditional pesto and always a crowd favourite. This recipes makes around 1½ cups.





4 - 6 Serves

Frozen peas

1 cup

Crushed garlic

1 t

Spring onion, finely sliced


Olive oil

1 T

Lemon juice

2 T

Parmesan cheese, grated

¼ cup

Sweet chilli sauce (optional)

1 t

Salt and Pepper

To season



Blend all ingredients together in a food processor or blender. It may be a little stiff to start with but it gets softer as the peas thaw out.


Serving Suggestion:

Serve with vegetable sticks or crackers.
