Ingredients

Banana, thickly sliced

Margarine or butter

Brown sugar

Orange juice

Method

  1. Melt margarine in a small fry pan.
  2. Add sugar and orange juice and heat until the sugar has dissolved.
  3. Add banana and cook 3-4 minutes until the banana is tender.

 

Microwave

  1. In a microwave-safe bowl place the margarine, brown sugar, and orange juice.
  2. Cook, uncovered on high power for 30 seconds. Add the sliced banana and stir well.
  3. Cook on high power for 40 seconds or until the banana is hot and tender.

 

Serving Suggestion: serve with ice cream, custard or yoghurt.
